Also note for any issues with gliders & rocking chairs: 1. Make sure your back rest is clicked in firmly. 2. Manual & electric chairs are not meant to rock while the leg rest is up (even slightly). 3. Rocking and gliding chairs contain moving components, including hinges, springs and bearings. Some operational noise during use is normal and does not indicate a fault. No rocking or gliding chair can be guaranteed to operate completely silently.
